This is probably my last maintenance checkup under warranty for my car. Is there anything I should ask for besides the scheduled maintenance check up? Thanks in advance.

Update coilpacks, check cam for premature wear since 35K isn't too many miles, still worth checking though. That's about it.

Why is it your last free maintenance? no 45k miles? or is the 4 year up soon?

just take it to the dealer~ they'll take care of your car.

i just got mine back from a 35k. they did all the coilpacks. updated to the most recent revisions. i'm hoping the car runs better now. it had a slight slight stumble at idle.

I wouldnt bother asking shit. They will check what they want to check. I asked them to check my coilpacks and they essentially just ignored me. if the car isnt throwing CEL's for it they are going to bother. At least my dealer didnt.

I am up for this service as well and it includes changing the spark plugs. Does anyone have any suggestions for this issue? Should I just go with whatever plugs the dealer puts in?

does everyone get a free 45k maintenance check. I have a 2007 B7 quattro

if you are still under warranty, just go with whatever OEM parts they plan on using. It's best to do pil changes when they say to do them and use OEM sprak plugs, we all know dealers try to burn you every chance they get when it comes to anything aftermarket that MAY or COULD cause a problem - my 35K service was about $250

this is what my dealers stance was on the DV and camfollower problems.

I see your from cali... are you quattro or front-trak? If you've got the cvt you have to make sure you get the tranny fluid changed (i would recommend the dealer unless you have an audi-specific mechanic cuz it's apparently complicated)... there's a checklist in your service manual... read it and all your answers will be there.

Well if something isn't broken there's no need to fix it. To check the cam follower you have to pull the high pressure fuel pump and it's a PITA. Warranty doesn't pay (the dealer or the tech) to do something because a customer is afraid that a part has prematurely failed... there has to actually be symptoms associated with the concern before it'll get checked out. I'd be pissed if I had to pull off that pump (or any part for that matter) for free because a customer was browsing these forums and got scared.

Now if you're willing to pay to have something checked out, that's a different story altogether.

yes... major scum-bags... but with the cvt... i wouldn't risk going anywhere else for the service.

How long does the Audi warranty last, is it 4 years 50k or 3 yrs 35k? I cant seem to find it on the interwebs, and I cant remember what the guy said when I bought my car... lol, its a 2007 A4

Luckily my 35k maintenance is coming up right before my 4 years is up, get one last free "fix it if it's broke" visit.

Ahhhh the beauty of CPO.... got a total of 6 years and up to 100k, whichever comes first... and bought it with just 3k miles [evilsmile]

So, does the Audi care package cover all the maintenance required at each service interval or will there be additional charges at each one? For instance my dealer said it would be roughly $900 for the 35k service, but the Audi care package only costs ~740 and that is supposed to cover the 15k, 25k, 35k, and 45k service.

Yes, it does. Buy it... I did and have not had to pay a penny through 35k and won't until 75k because I bought the CPO Audi Care on top of the new car one.

When I bought mine used they just told me the previous owner purchased it. You could probably just call your dealership with your vin and they should be able to tell you. I get my service done at a different dealership than I bought it and have had no problems.
