there is a problem with my urs4. i drove home perfectly fine today but when i went to drive to qt my car started, sputtered and turned off as if it stalled. i tried starting it repeatedly but every other time the car would not even idle. it would reach about 100 or 200 rpm then turn off.
i have enough coolant and oil so i know i didn't cease it. and all the boost lines are still connected.
also the other day while i was driving the radio turned its self off. and the day after that i turned my radio on and the little screen where the channel is displayed on the dash had lines it it but no writing. HELP MEEEE!![=(][headbang][wrench]

100-200 RPMs is cranking. You should know if its firing or not. Don't panic. From the other things you said it sounds like it could be the ECU giving up the ghost. Try to find someone local you can swap one with or find someone on the board with an extra one who would be willing to lend it out. Its hard to diagnose things like this over the internet but from what you described ECU is certainly a possibility.

thanks i will see.
so i went back to the car about an hour or so ago and it started!! i dont know why, i think its and electrical problem because i let it warm up, turned it off and turned it back on and it ran fine. my brother thinks its a bad battery or some other electrical issue.

Its certainly electrical. Just depends where. Could be ECU, could be coil related, could be flaky relays, could be so many things.

thanks for the help but it happened again and i diagnosed it as a dead fuel pump. i unscrewed the gas feed line and tried starting it and guess what only 1 drop of fuel came out

heh, guess the other electrical stuff was just a coincidence then. Fuel pump was next on the list. I have another fuel pump if you need one ;)
