Hello.
I just got home my Cupra lip. But now I sit and think about whether I should paint it in the car's color or leave it black. I have no black optics but everything is in chrome. Anyone who has pictures on an A4 with cupra lip that is painted and not painted?

I would leave it unpainted, cause chances are you are gonna scrape since you look low already... why waste money on paint if it will get messed up anyway? And besides it looks good in black.

Dude, paint it. Everyone is leaving it black. I think it will look more part of bumper, instead of looking like an add on. Here is my car for some idea.

Somewhere on here there's a pic of a red s-line with a painted Cupra, it doesn't really flow IMO. I'd keep it black, or maybe plastidip both the lip and the grill if you want to establish a theme.

Agreed. And if you paint it, make sure your shop matches it the right way!

I guess it's my car...another guy commented that he had never seen anyone painted the Cupra lip, I guess mine is more unique...so paint it!!!!! NOW!!!!

Thank you all. Tomorrow I mount it if I do not think it fits so well, I leave it at work for paint.

Leave it black! IMO it looks much better than the painted one.

Your car looks nice, are you going to do the window trim?

Recently I painted the wheels black, and the only think chrome is the window trim, I am thinking about applying vinyl to make it black...I just don't have time.

or not. Keep it how it is, rock it like a lip should be rocked [;)]

side note: there's a reason some things are played and some things are "unique". One looks good, the other not so much! aka VMR and comparable companies?

I kind of like how it looks painted on that red car...

If I got one for my car though, (Light Silver Metallic) I would leave it black.

I'm going to finish the inside next week, if I have enough i'll give it a try and post some pics.

I'm using the 3m Vinyl. This was the inside test.
