Finally, New Wheels (with pictures of course)

I finally ponied up and got some new wheels. As you can see, 19" VMR V710's in gunmetal. (Thanks PYSpeed!)..Pictures are kinda crap and the car is a bit dirty, but I wanted to throw something up on the forums. Let me know whatcha'll think. Now on to the next project, whatever that may be.

I'm getting these in 18s matte black, on my ibis. think that gunmetal looks sick, but the matte black would have matched it better.

Matte black is played out (for wheels). Gunmetal looks amazing and the drop looks perfect! Congrats!

Obviously, i'm a bit biast, but I totally agree. I really don't care for black wheels, especially on a design like the V710's...totally kills the look of the wheel. Everything would look better with that hood that you've got..lol...I can't justify buying it now (not to mention the misses would kill me).

25.25" Front and 25.50" Rear. What would lead you to believe I'd get the tire wear?

When lowering our cars below 25", we tend to see inner tire wear on the front tires. I'm at 25.25" all around and I'm not noticing any bad wear. You should be fine.

I totally understand that thought. I agree a lot of people have them, but it is not nearly as out of hand as RS4 reps are..If I lived up North or on the West Coast, I probably wouldn't have got them, but I live in Northwest Florida. We barely see any Audis, let alone one that has been modded.

I think gunmetal was the best choice. Obviously you want a darker color to get some contrast, but you lose the detail with MB especially sicne the car is white. Looks awesome, drop is awesome. Digging the lip/grill combo

I just put on the center caps that were on my TI wheels....Everyone usually orders RS4 center caps (#4B0 601 170 A 7ZJ)

Good possibility they will ...

And the other thing, well ... He's already at ET35 and on 245 tires. If he's OCD, he could go for some 3mm spacers in the back, but not really necessary.

My fiance got it from goingfast, when they still did business. You can get it from OEMPlus, but its on special-order and usually cost around $50 for shipping![o_o]...Seems like they're getting harder and harder to come by.

I used the OEM bolts for these, yes. This is something VMR took into consideration. I'm certain you can't use OEM bolts for all ET35 wheels.

Wow. I'm normally not a fan of darker wheels. But yours look great with your setup. I've always loved that VMR wheel.

The tires are excellent...nice and grippy...pretty quiet, too. It's nice to move from a four season tire to a performance summer tire...

I won't lie, at first I did rub a slight bit over decent bumps in the road. I was hitting the top bolt in the fender lining. I took out the bolt and trimmed down the plastic tab with a box cutter. The bolt/tab is really not needed....Now i have absolutely NO issues at all. It was a really quick fix.
