Yesterday morning I got the 45k service, also the updated coils, new breather valve, and gasket. Before the service I was noticing a boost leak. Then after the service the car felt great, until I got on the highway. I felt like the car was holding back and felt the same boost leak. It wasn't till later that night when the check engine light came on. I have no idea what it could be. Maybe the dv? Any idea as to what it may be?

I think you're right, DV probably. You have the stock DV, and are you chipped?

it sounds like what happened to me: got on a highway, floored it and the car was not boosting. CEL came in immediately, though. read the code and it was the one for DV (can't recall exactly). took it out and sure enough, the diaphragm was shredded.

you dont need a cel for the dv to go. if you have an 06 or 07 then you probly have the old dv which will go bad anyhow. if youre still under warranty then it should be covered. listen for a hissing sound like having air come out of a tire.

Thanks for the help guys, I just made an appointment next tuesday. THey said they are gonna have to run some tests. I told them I believe its the DV. If the DV were to be bad would it throw up a check engine light? Just wondering, if there is anything else you guys an think of let me know.
