Difference b/t S-line Valence and Non- S-line?

Just like the title says. I've seen pics of a painted s-line valence/diffuser and it looks identical to the valence I have on my non s-line that I'm thinking about painting. So what's the major differences?

Only reason i brought that up is because a few threads down, even on the same page, there is a topic which is VERY similar to yours. In that thread, you would of found your answer.


The S-Line is painted from factory and has a little lip to it but unpainted if bought afterwards from say genuineaudiparts
The non-S-Line has no lip to it and is matte gray from factory.
