Alright, so I went to the dealership to get my car checked over and they want to charge me 375 for a new battery!? They said it costs $250 plus labor... So my question to all is, where's a good place to buy batteries (Obv not paying someone to put in a batt)?
Side Note: if anyone has any good references for 19" tires please let me know!
Thanks Everyone![drive]

tirerack.com....they have braille lightweight batteries for pretty cheap. They have wheels also, but check the classifieds on here first.

Little over $100 from the dealer. You're not going to find a better battery for that price.

im unsure whether they would fit in your audi but ive had great experiences with optima batteries and for the price the dealership is trying to charge you, you could pick up a red top optima for about 150-170ish

Wow thats alot for a battery...I took mines to the dealer and got a new battery for 110 and after installation i was at 170..y are they charging so much? I went to few other places and they couldnt install it and Audi told me they had to reprogram somenthing so I just took it to them to be on the safe side..

I actually have the 19" RS4 wheels that the previous owner bough from the dealer. I really need tires, and wanted to know where anyone has had a successful process in getting them for cheap.

However, this dealership works on lambo's porsche's and must get away with charging excessive amounts.

On this here website it says the thingamajig is
380 amp - $144.00 (part number should be "000915105AG") It's 80AH/380A

450 amp - $105.60 (part number should be "000915105AH") It's 95AH/450A
http://www.genuinevwaudiparts.com/partlocator/index.cfm?action=getJointLocator&siteid=214407&chapter=§ionids=3,2413&groupid=2414&subgroupid=2414&componentid=46432&make=2&model=A4%20Sedan&year=2006&catalogid=2&displayCatalogid=0
I figure the 450 amp one should be more expensive maybe its a typo. If you don't want to order it, just go to sears and let them put in there crappy battery, they warranty it for a couple years. when it dies just bring it back to them and they will change it at no charge just have your receipt, assuming the the thermal ink hasn't disappeared by then.
Order it and put it in yourself.
OEM is the path of the righteous one.
