I'm new to forum, I just purchased a 93 cs 5 spd, it's my first Audi, have owned BMW, Benz in the past. It has 137k on the odometer, but its broken, I est it has around 150k, cause I have a repair bill from 08 where they replaced timing belt, water pump, distributor, seals, gaskets. the guy i bought it from replaced clutch, cv axles, brakes, so i felt ok paying 1200. for the car. The issues it has is no heat, ordered new core, the odometer as stated is broke, cruise control dosent wrok, and the auto door locks dont work, it has a tapping lifter(not too worried bout that), I am very mechanical, so i will make these repairs. I need to know if anyone has made these repairs and could hepl with trouble shooting tips. I have a procedure for the heater core and possibly the cruise, door locks i couldn't find anthing, sorry so long.

here is a walk through for your heater core install...

Odometers normally fail due to a broken gear in the physical speedometer, best bet is to open up the custer open the speedo and check, you can get the gear from any other 90...

cruise control not working is typically due to a vacuum leak, i would check under the hood to see if it is all hooked up, if it is under the hood, it is probably a problem with the trigger on the pedal, the orings get old and fail. replace the oring and you'll probably be back in business

auto door locks again is typically vacuum, check the pump which is in the trunk behind the carpet by the fuel door.
