Trying to install a JVC Head unit into a TT. Had it working for a minute, then I disconnected everything to rearrange some wires to fit better, plugged it all in and can't get it to stay on now. It will power on initially kind of a system check or something, then immediately shut down. Can't get it to power up after that.

Checked all the fuses and don't see any blown. Fuse on the head unit is good too.

Any ideas?

Get a multimeter and start testing things.

It's possible you have a blown or shorted speaker.

This.

It's powering down because it's going into 'protect' mode, not because of a blown fuse.

It's also possible that while you were re-arranging wires you jacked up the connection for your switched and constant 12V wires which could cause your unit to power on and then power right back off. I like the other possibles mentioned here so far, too.
