1st post.. what's happenin audi people

So i haven't bought my car yet, but 100% have made my decision to buy one. I'm just waiting on the right color, mileage, price, etc. My goal is to get a 2005.5 Moro Blue S4, but if a black/moro 2004-2006 for the right price and mileage come around, i'm going to hop on it. I'm thinking i'll have one by the next 6 months.

To keep me occupied until i buy one, i've been researching two things: rims and stereo. I saw an RNS-E navi pop up on craigslist for $650. not a bad price, hopefully get it down to 550-600. I like the way the rns-e looks, it looks like it belongs, whereas some of the other fancy ones sometimes look out of place.

Questions:

1) Who has the rns-e and likes/dislikes it?
2) If you can suggest something else for a better price that looks better
3) Ipod - i was told you need an MMI adapter to play the ipod - how much do those run?
4) DVD - what's the most efficient way to get the dvd running on these things? what exactly do you need? can you get a DVD-rom drive for the computer and hook it up to it, and put it in the glove?

Thanks in advance

RNS-E is awesome. Fits there and looks OEM, otherwise anything else looks stupid. Thing is you dont wanna make it look like a gay ass ricer with aftermarket deck. You can get iPod Integration for $ 50.00, and DVD too along with BlueTooth and rear view camera, with RNS-E there are like no end to what you could do.

Purchasing the RNS-E was one of the best things I did for my car.

$650 is pretty low for an RNS-E... I'd be leary of the condition...

1.) yes, two of them
2.) personal preference...see answer #1
3.) look into denison gateway, and I beleive (don't quote me) enfig has a really nifty one that does song titles on the DIS [up]
4.) you need a MMI adapter, I have a kufatec ima basic-plus with a rear view camera and an alpine 6-disc dvd changer...I love it.
