Warranty Question

I brought my 07 A4 in for its 35000 service, and asked the service rep about replacing my arm rest under warranty. I have read about many people on this site getting the arm rest fixed under warranty. My arm rest wont close, it just freely moves up and down. They quoted me around $150 in parts and said its usual wear and tear and not covered. Should I call AoA and see if they can sway the dealership to fix it, or is it the dealerships call? Thanks

There is a fix for the armrest somewhere on here. I'd search.

But usually its the dealerships call....

i have an arm rest without the lid from an 06 if your interested. Swap mine out with another.

arm rests are differnt depending on if the car or doesn't have Bluetooth...

Arm rest are generally up the dealership's discretion. Talk to Fabio or Rudy at the service desk, their good help.,
