19" 5 star tri spoke vs 20" 5 star tri spoke weight.

Hi guys,

Do you perhaps know what these weigh in at? I just received a quote from a company based in Italy that manufactures replicas of these wheels and they weigh in at 68kg for the 19s and 80kg for the 20"

Would like to know how these fair up against the real deal.

The 19s are actually quite a bit lighter than the 20s. If you look at any series of rim after market, the weight goes up pretty gradual and linear, until 19. Going 20 is a larger jump.

The tri spoke is 29 pounds in a 19x8.5, and 27 pounds in an 18x7.5....but the 20x9 is 34lbs. (lets not forget that the width of the 18 is generally 7.5" or 8", and the 19, 20 are 8.5 or 9.)
