You can tell there is a drop, but I think the angles of the pics in a few of those make it seem not so much. It could also be the tires that make the gap not seem as small as others who are in a 18 or 19. Looks good though, and GL...

They are on stock shocks right now. In doing research on the ABT website, talking to my tuner, talking to the service manager of an Audi dealership it was determined that aftermarket shocks were not needed for these springs. I know I will get flamed anyway...

Looks 100 times better, but it could stand to be a little lower. I'm guessing you'll get a little settling over the next few weeks.
I wonder if they tightened up the various bolts when the suspension was hanging. If so, that might be why it isn't very low. The bushings and such can bind up if tightened when extended, keeping the ride height higher. I think this is the main cause for people seeing settling after suspension installs. Ideally you shouldn't tighten any of the bolts up until the suspension is compressed. I used my floor jack to compress the suspension when installing my Eibach's and didn't get any settling afterwords.

no to to thread jack, but do you wait two weeks to get alignment, or get it right away?

You went front standard (non-sport) to these right? Please do not think I am trying to flame. But you were given some wrong information about not changing out the shocks. Going from sport to a drop like this is fine, but from non-sport to these, you shocks will be toast very quick.

Tightened while compressed. Install was done by the book. No creaks, rattles, or noises.

I am curious about people who have actually experienced this. It seems as though everybody is quick so say this but haven't run into anybody who has actually run into the problem. ABT says their springs are designed for the stock (non sport) suspension on their website. My tuner and mechanic also agreed that there should not be problems. The service manager at my dealership even said there shouldn't be a problem. Just sayin...
ooh, are you sure? I'm just curious too.
Are you still under warranty? If yes, can they replace your stock shock if they blow? because the service manager told you that.
(not flaming, just wondering)

I've heard of people installing H&R springs with their non s-line shock, and being fine. As long as they don't track their cars or whatever. Should be okay for a daily driver I'm guessing. Hopefully since I will do the same!

This is exactly what my tuner told me. As a daily driver and not seeing the track the shocks will be fine. By the way ABT springs are made by H&R.

The answer to this would be no. It is an aftermarket part so something like the struts that are a wear Item would not be covered.
