If it was me (which it is not). I would put back on the stock grill, put on a filler plate, and lower it. Oh and do a Cupra lip. Non-sline can look damn good with some slight mods.

I think that grille could look really good blacked out. I dont particularly like in chrome, but I bet it looks 100% better in person. JBoogz just keep doing what you're doing...even if it is against the grain. A good drop is a must if you're going to have such an aggressive front end like that though. And I'd consider the magic of plasti-dip...something about chrome and a sports sedan doesn't really mesh (pun intended, haha). Props for doing something different and posting it though

I don't want to be mean, but I think the mods you've made make the car look much cheaper. Honestly the only thing I like that you've done is the smoked front reflectors.

At the end of the day if you're happy with it that's what matters, but I believe most people do mods to improve what others think of their cars, and I just don't think these are going to have the desired results.

In all honesty... If you like it thats all that matters. I actually have a light silver metallic non s-line as well. And personally with a light colored car, like silver or white I think a "contrast theme" looks best, as opposed to adding more chrome as you have done here. Might want to look into BMW shadowline vinyl. (which is a vinyl that you can apply to your grill, window trim, sidemarkers...etc.) just google it, or forum search and you'll find all kinds of info on it.

The rims aren't my fav. however with a nice drop they might look pretty cool. I agree on our color car, a nice light tail tint looks really nice. Check out this thread, its shows examples of people on AZ that have tinted their tails, including brand, degree of tint...etc.

I still recall the last thread where someone was sporting a chrome grill... That poor guy hasn't been back. Then again he didn't take the criticism as well as you are.

Car looks good minus the grill IMO. I think a blacked out grill would look better for contrast or even a stock grill.

I prolly woulda kept the stock grill and set money aside for a drop. As everyone else has said though it is your car and do what makes you happy. You shouldn't purchase a car only to make it what everyone else likes. It should be all about what you like.

Well, bashing aside, I still really like it. And i've gotten nothing but compliments since I drove it out of the shop today. 1st time people have actually taken notice to the car. I bought the car used w/ 5,000 miles on it, but I assure you, my stock grill was faded and I just don't like the look of the audi grills in general. I've looked at ALOT of pictures on here over the past few weeks before I bought anything, and imo, most of your cars look the same because of the grill. All of the audi spec grills I saw, the blacked out s4 grills and such, just didn't appeal to me....at all. Wanted it to look real different. But I definitely wouldn't say the car looks cheap. But like I said, to each his own, I am still going to participate in this forum now.

Glad you like your car man. Since you are set on keeping it the way it is, i would say to definitely lower it. I see you stated above that our cars mostly look the same with the s4 grills and the blacked out this and that but there are other grills that a lot of people don't sport around here that are decent. It's good that you want to be unique, but I think you have to start with the right mods.
Like stated before if you are going to try anything as bald as this you need a goooooooood drop. Plenty of shit can look better with a drop. Changes your car completely.
That being said I can't say I feel the grill and the headlights. And that's coming from a guy that kinda likes his chrome(in decent portions) and got Dectanes headlights. :)
Keep doing what you're doing, but get a drop. Remember just because you wanna be unique doesn't mean you'll get respected for it.

Aesthetically, there is nothing that ties into that grill. It stands out as an add-on without regard to complementing any other styling element on the car. One could say it provides contrast, but with the grill being such a dominant element to the front, having the entire grill in contrast to the car only draws attention to itself, and not necessarily a good kind of attention.

As it is now, it's incomplete. It seems as if you have a certain vision for the car that you currently cannot attain (yet?). The grill might have been an attempt to fulfill that vision, but since we lack your perspective, it only looks like a doesn't belong on the car, while in your mind it does belong; it's the rest of the car that doesn't belong.
