Had it for 6 days and absolutely love it- prestige, sports diff and carbon fiber. Traded in my '09 A5 14 months into a 36 month lease. Amazingly, I had $4k of equity. The lease swap was actually really easy- let me know if you have questions on the process.

Quick thoughts:
- think the A5 is a slightly better looking car but the S4 is a beast and 95% of the sex appeal. Small sample size but the A5 seemed to induce more gawking.
- really miss the driver assist and backup camera. they made me lazy. hopefully I can get back in the habit of looking where I back up before I learn my lesson the hard way.
- not thrilled with the alcantara. its almost too sticky, I'm constantly fidgeting to adjust my pants.
- love the sports diff- being able to adjust the steering feel between comfort and dynamic is great.
- wish the car would default to my preferred settings like "preset radio stations" and Sport Diff. SA said he thought this might be part of a s/w update.
- my seat heaters either are not working or just don't get very hot. Anyone else feel this way?
- love the V6T. getting this kind of power with the (projected) fuel economy is amazing. 17mpg on first tank (50/50 city/highway)
- need to get me a vag-com cable to take care of those winking DRLs
- noticed a lot of seattle owners on the forum; explains why there aren't many S4s sitting on PNW lots.
- really like the tri-spoke 19s. 2nd favorite audi rims behind the RS4s.
- buddy has a B7 S4 and he tries to flip me shit over the V8 but deep down he's knows whats up.

Back to driving...

Lots of cold days up here in Canada and I've found the seat heaters to work quite well. At first I thought that the 5 or 6 levels were excessive, but now I'm actually liking the flexibility. On really cold days, I can still crank them up high, but on days where it's just kind of cool out, it's possible to turn them on at a low setting and not have my ass scorched.

Filler panel on order. Front plates are required here in WA too but haven't ever had a problem.

Re: seat heaters. talked to a tech this morning who said Audi reduced the power of the seat heaters in 2010 models- as much as 30 degrees at max power. I still think mine aren't working. Taking it in for a looksy.

I haven't had an issue here either, I did a filler plate (not a black one though) on mine as well :)

Great shot of the Brilliant Black, so many have Phantom, and in this shot I can really tell a difference in the colors.

I can never tell the 2 blacks under the sun, in distance.

But indoor under artificial light or standing close, the difference is clear.

I thought Prestige came with back up camera for 2010... or is it just nav?

2 things you might consider. First, get the Glossy black filler plate instead of the gray. Should look especially good on a black car. http://oemplus.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=60_78_140&products_id=953. Also you might consider one of these for your license plate.http://www.swiftmotorsports.com/product_info.php?products_id=3144 Comes in 2 versions. Manual($50) and Electric remote control ($150)

There are many members here in the Seattle area with Vag-Com, myself included. If you want to set up a time to meet, send me a PM and I will be happy to help you out.

Prestige comes with Nav but no backup camera or parking sensors.

I had the glossy black filler panel on my black A5. I think the grey works better with the S4 and looking to change it up a little.

Tifosi, appreciate the offer and I'd love to meet up- haven't seen an S5 cab in person. Headed out of town for a couple weeks but I'll PM you when I'm back. thx
