So I wanted to ask you guys since Im sure you'll know, I searched and there is a lot of threads about HID kits but didnt seem to answer my question. Will this HID kid work for my car without any additional parts just a plug and play with the wires? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/HID-xenon-conversion-kit-H1-H3-H4-H7-H11-9006-8000K_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem5acfd32080QQitemZ 390033776768QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAc cessories
My cousin just installed the same exact kit on his 2004 Golf 2.0...
Thanks guys.

ummm...not sure. Im running the DDM HID's for my fogs and that gives me a "bulb out" warning on my screen.
Do you have halogens? Im assuming you do. Just know its going to blind the crap out of people when you put HID's in them. I had them on for a lil while but realized it was blinding people and took them off.
Im sure they should work.

I was just messing, yeah I have halogens, I was just curious if I would need anything else except the kit I am about to order... Would it flicker or anything [confused]

whether the kit flickers or not depends on the quality of the kit. I have xentec's in my wife's xB, and have not had any issues with it. However, the electrical system on the xB is vastly simpler than the electrical system compared to the A4. The A4 will most likely give a bulb out warning unless you get their warning canceller. Also, the HID kit for my fog light on the A4 does not always turn on until I got a wiring harness (power is drawn directly from the battery, the stock connector merely activates a relay).

10000k looks horrible really blue, you should have went with 6000k. Plus with 10000k it limits the illumination of the road so you it pointless of puttin HID's on.

Haha hope u have your flame suit on, because the guys here on the AZ hate hid's in halogens and 10000k HID's. But your puttin HID's just for the dark blue light?

Lol flame suit. Idc about what others think unless its important, what I like is what I get. And yeah I like blue lights a lot my 7000k bulbs are 'artic white' and not really blue, just a little bit. But I think I'll like these [evilsmile]

Of course its your car so do with it what you wish. I got 6000k and its a mix between white blue. It also depends on the HID some vary depending on the quality. GL

i have 5k installed and they are pure white. Also when i isntalled them they wouldnt turn on with the car started becuase you need the cancellers to run a steady rate of power. For the mean time i have my car coded to bixenons so i dont have my high beams until i get the cancellers and then recode them back to halogens!!
