My concerns are that the cover is cracked as you can see (pic1) and i have noticed a loss in boost or pull. This cracked on my accident way back but it seems i have to replace it. What might this part b called? Secondly, in the 2nd pic, this is some smoke coming from the pipe with the hose connected to it. BTW i have not clue what this is called. Lastly, the is some oil around the side of the engine. Had this problem also prior to accident. Should I worry. I am a noob I know I apologize in advance. Rep+[up] for help.
EDIT: Refering to pic 1. this might be called an air duct. I am not 100% but located on the left of the engine, it is connected from the front of the car to the intake.

2nd picture is your test pipe with the o2 sensor.....oil might be pcv or the head gasket is leaking

Should i be concerned with smoke coming from the test pipe? Any way on checking the if its the pcv or head gasket?

hows the idle on the car, is it the same all the time, or is it up an down all the time, also to check the pcv try un screwing the oil cap if u get back pressure like its tough to pull up on it than im pretty sure ur pcv is gone

The idle isnt bad when its in drive. Though i had it in park last week n the rpm's were around 1800. I will try that tomorrow, here in NY its pretty late lol. So i take off the oil cap and drive it around the block? Is this what you mean?

what he means is try unscrewing your oil cap, with the car running, and if its hard to remove like it feels as if the cap is being sucked down like a vaccuum then its your pcv

OK so i tried pulling the cap off while the car was running. It felt like it was being sucked down but i was able to pull it out. Took some strength but was able to. Does this mean that i need to replace the pcv perhaps?
