Radio Reception

Hey Guys,

I just installed a Pioneer AVH3100DVD into my A4, i had to use the Antenna filter to plug the antenna in and now my radio reception is crap!... I cannot even pick up the local stations well... anyone else ever had this problem?

What year a4 do you have and what antenna adapter did you use?

I have a 2004 A4 Avant without Bose .... How do i know what adapter was used? It is a long tube and it has a wire that comes off it.

The model number.

You need a Metra 40-VW53 or 40-VW54.
