We are about 3 weeks out. Prototype/production model just tested and driven today. How about a 45% reduction and smooth?! This thing is going to be really, really nice. Like a bolt action rifle lubed with butter. No pics yet, we are holding back until release. Same goes for pricing. We are also doing testing on the B8 A4 manual later this week. Checked out the web site. Wondering why they use handwelds on the stainless exhaust tubing. Would think a nice clean automatic orbital weld (with argon) would be much nicer. I am biased though as I work in Pharma and inspect welds as part of my job....

I drove the S4 in both DSG and 6sp. versions. I prefer 6spd. but I felt like the gearbox was just too sluggish for the car. Love to see how this works out!

Any applications for a A5 6sp?

It is pretty smooth I think but I'm curious to see how this turns out.

The design has now been tested on-car with a printed 3D model. So...we've sent the parts to production (rubbing hands together). Going to be schweet!

It's a fit on the 2.0T B8 A4 too, the secret is out. The first full example will be here any minute for a test fit and drive. Pete

It will indeed fit the A5 6MT. S5 as well!

I was able to test out this short shifter today and was very happy, this will be my first modification when released. The throw is cut by what seemed like 1/2, and it reduces a lot of unwanted slop in the stock box. The smooth qualities of the stock setup are maintained, however. It's a no brainer for me...

And for what it's worth, the Millitek non-resonated exhaust and Hyperflow intake both sound incredible in real life.

StratJohn

20-30 minutes. Really easy. No interior disassembly (aka no scratched trim or marks!)... install is done from underneath and is very simple.

zero difficulty!

Went through the install earlier today with John at stratmosphere - took us 12 minutes. I'm not all that mechanically inclined and could have done this solo with the included instructions in less than 20 minutes. No ripping the inside of my brand new vehicle apart - Most great ideas are simple ones, and the beauty of this solution is very much it's simplicity. The drive home was really fun, works like a charm.
