View Full Version : Are the A6 and A4 Symphony II radios the same?

I understand the A6 has a slightly wider faceplate because the car is larger, but other than that are the head units the same? I'd like to swap my 2002 A6 faceplate onto an A4 radio. Thanks

That's what I've heard but I'm not 100%. I'm pretty sure that's correct though. Do you have anyone in your area with a Symphony 2+?

They look identical to me. The only difference that you may run in to is that the A4's use head unit power for the front speakers whereas the a6 uses the factory amp. The pins on both radios look identical though, so you should be okay.
