I'd lose that badge on the back, everything else very nice.

yeah i know that's the euro s4 badge that was on the car when i bought it. I have mixed feelings about it. I like it cuz it matches the sport badge on the steering wheel but don't want people to think i have a S4 badge on an a4 like the honda guys with a VTEC sticker.

Lose the badge on the trunk. I did an S4 interior swap and my steering wheel has the badge if I could take it off I would...don't misrepresent dude :)

Car looks real good man, like state above take the badge off. What are you going to do suspension wise?

Any ideas on the brand and height yet? Or will that come later on in the year.

Well i'm going to bilstiens for the shocks and i picked up a set of new in box Tein S-tech springs from someone off of craigslist for a decent price. Not sure how they are but if i don't like them, i'll just switch to H&R i suppose.

If you go H&R will you go race or sport? Sorry for prodding with so many questions I just get curious as to what people like to run of suspension.

probably sport as i don't want to car too low. Don't want it dragging in the snow with race springs.

I'm pretty sure it says in your garage that your A4 is a quattro. If so, the tein S-tech springs will not work on your car. If I recall correctly Tein S-tech springs were only made for FWD A4's.

Very nice interior!!! Did you do the seats or previous owner?

h4robkr123
01-16-2010, 12:41 PM
How exactly are those seats mounted? I know there needs to be another hole put in for the four bolts pattern to work on the A4s three bolt. How was it done?

What exhaust setup do you have? I live the rear end alot because of them.

Actually they will fit. I have model SKG08-AUB00 and if you check the website they fit s4 and b5 sport. I know they may not be really low but i'm only looking for about 1inch or so drop as i feel the car is too high with my 17s in the summer. Don't want it to be too low in the snow.

They were in there when i bought the car. I'll try to take some pics of the bolt area that's holding them down. The driver side wasn't done very well and the bolts came off one day and i had a rocking driver seat. The hole was stripped i just got my mechanic to spot weld it down.

Thanx a lot for the pic but i doubt i'll got that low. The tint looks good too.

Well there ya go, I guess they make them for the S4 as well. But only for front wheel drive A4's. Didn't know you got S4 Stech springs. I guess we'll see how much of a drop you acutally get on a 1.8T with those.

Yeah i'll find out in a couple months once it's warm enough outside to do them.

Which magnaflow is it and could you take a picture up close of the tips and under the car? Im thinking about doing a catback this spring and like the look of yours.

Yes. Correct. Those springs were made for FWD A4's .. if you see some posts i've started there are some pictures of mine sitting on Tein S-Tech springs.

I can't remember which model # it in but i'll take a pic and post it. The exhaust in the pics on here right now was my stock exhaust as these pics are from when i bought the car. I'll post some update pics in the next couple days.

I didn't swap it out. It came with it. I like the metal trim on the knob but wish it said 5spd instead of 6spd.

Clean! I also like how your wheel still has the red emblem on. Mine got scrapped off by the previous owner, and every other audi b5 I've been in has theirs scrapped off too

this is the muffler i have now on the car right now with the 2.5inch stainless mandrel bent tubing. I'll post some pics tomorrow hopefully. Haven't cleaned it in a while so it's very dirty right now.

The 14816 is a great muffler, I run it on my car and IMO the sound is perfect. Did you fab the exhaust yourself, or did a shop do it for you? Also, what are the specs behind it? I'm always curious as to how people run their custom exhaust set ups, as the one that was built for me utilizes a mid muffler (14816) with no rear muffler and the piping splits to keep the dual tips in the rear.

I had a shop do it as i had now equipment available to do it. It's basically a 2.5inch stainless pipe from catback to the magnaflow muffler with 2.5inch flex pipe and no resonator or mid muffler.

Oh so in your original pics in your 1st post, are those just the OEM slide on chorme muffler tips?

Because I had them and those look really clean compared to mine
