Any estimates of whp ranges, what the threshold is for rods (100 chp per hole?) when clutch becomes necessary, etc?
What about people who want to do it on a budget- maybe fueling and remote tune for ATP or K04 hardware?

What about people who want to do it on a budget- maybe fueling and remote tune for ATP or K04 hardware? This isn't a budget kit, this is a kit that is very well made no expense was spared ie the best parts are used in this kit. We've been running near 380whp on Mikes Advant for near 3 years on the factory clutch still. I believe with good tuning we can get 400-430whp before a built motor maybe needed. Basically we should be able to max out the GT3071 on the factory motor. We are a APR dealer and we also do our own custom tune, we also remote tune with our stuff.

What is the life expectancy of a tublular manifold like that compared to a more robust cast piece?By no means is a cast considered robust. The material used here is schedule 40 which is near 1/4" wall thickness. The manifold will last forever we will give it a 100% life time warranty. Performance wise there's no comparison between the 2 manifolds.

If the injectors you guys are going to be running are bigger or flow more then RS4's i'd like some of those, the manifold, up pipe, watesgate/ wategate tube to up pipe, and intake pipe. I know this isn't your complete kit, but if you guys could give me a price for all these items i'd be a potential customer. PM me back with information.

We will find the limits with the stock motor and our tune then we will build our spare motor and run the GT35r. There will be plenty of pics of all parts once 100%

Well, then, the first post should be modified. "In-tank" and "High Pressure" do not go hand in hand with terminology on the FSI motor. Reference to the APR high pressure pump on the engine should be another line item.

I've never bought anything from Vast, but know many people that have their products on their cars, and their tunes. Top notch guys, that don't mess around. And if they can't build a kit to their standards for whatever reason, it doesn't see the light of day. I'm pretty confident that all fueling issues will be resolved in time.
If i were to go with any BT kit in the future, Vast would get the nod for sure.

If you are going to be doing a GT30 or GT35 on a tiptronic you need a hell of a lot more than a torque converter. I would say atleast the valve bodies need to be done as well to be safe

We use the schedule 40 because of the thickness, durability and performance gains. With having the thick wall schedule pipe will keep the heat in the manifold and not in the engine bay plus hot air travels faster so spool will increase.

The thin wall 16 gauge will never live, I'm in Michigan were we use salt and get a ton of snow ceramic coating the manifolds like we did for eastwick897 will keep them looking nice always. We use the schedule 40 because of the thickness, durability and performance gains. With having the thick wall schedule pipe will keep the heat in the manifold and not in the engine bay plus hot air travels faster so spool will increase.
ahh of course don't know why the ceramic coating didn't occur to me
