I would like to use a motion gif as my avatar and i can not figure out how to do so

ps keep in mind i have a mac. any help please?

1) It's too large pixel-wise. The maximum dimensions are 160x80 pixels.

2) It may be too big in file size as well. The max in that regard is 30k.
