FMIC Comparison?

Anyone have dynos comparing the AWE fmic to Evolution Racewerks fmic to any other custom ones?

AWE is the only one I have ever seen with any proof to backup their product. They had a badass article written in a magazine. Let me link it quick.....

IMO, I will only go with the AWE when I have the money. they are the only one with proven results that I have seen. As far as I know, they are the only full size FMIC that does not require modification/removal of the crash bar which is important for safety.

Sure, they are almost twice the price of some others, but also, know that they probably offer twice the performance of those other brands, too. Not to mention all the research and development they have obviously done, whereas the other companies, what do they have? A cheaper intercooler, obviously smaller, and no graphs, dyno's, proven research of any kind.

Same reason why the APR HPFP is so expensive. They have put so much time and money into that project, and have very expensive machines to do what they do. Someone has to pay for it.

If APR ever does come out with a comparable FMIC, then maybe there will be somewhat of a price war between the two, but from what I have heard, that won't be happening any time soon, if ever.

Good luck. You will probably only find one if a car was totalled from the side or rear, or they are selling the car. No one is getting rid of that baby as long as the car is theirs.

once im finished getting my tp/hfc, chip, and suspension I will be getting the AWE intercooler. its the best on the market.

Well if my pricing is correct, the APR FMIC is like 1/2 the cost of the AWE.

AWE doesn't have any deals on theirs so i'm not buying the AWE FMIC, i'll stick with APR since i have a good standing relationship with them!

Goodluck with APR FMIC. I am disappointed with them when it comes to FMIC. Just take a look at this thread and see the "sneak peak" intercooler http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php?t=251041&highlight=apr+intercooler

Over year ago and still nothing... I think on that thread I posted to just close it since its all bullshit, whole year and nothing?? Come on.... I don't have anything against APR, have their tune on my car but they failed when it comes to FMIC for our cars. (2.0T) Going with AWE as soon as I get the money!!
