New '09 A4 Quattro SE 'vert questions

Hello Audizine,

New Audi owner here, as so far enjoying the new ride. Previously in 2 seat convertibles that were lots of fun, but life presently requires more room and quiet with top up.

My main question so far is whether there's a bolt on hitch receiver anyone knows of? All the typical hitch places show that the normal b7 receiver won't work on the 'vert? Does anyone know the difference in the two, and is it something I can modify to get a receiver on this thing? I'm an avid cyclist and want to be able to take the bikes along with me.

2nd related ? is whether there are any differences in the 08 and 09. Most accessory sites don't even list the 09 convertible but thinking nothing changed in the last year.

Thanks for any info you might have on this...and any other tips on getting this car dialed in.

Also the "B7" convertible is not much changed from the B6 convertible. the front end have changed but if you look at the back it still look quite the same...

Yeah, why is it that the convertibles take an extra year to change up? I noticed that a while back with the 06's being b6 still. Weird. It is true from what I've heard, though, that they are one of the few convertibles that are specifically made different from a safety stand point to be convertibles, as opposed to just chopping the top off an a4, right? Not sure if that makes sense or not.

To answer the OP. You have an SE? Then you got a lot of standard equipment at the same price as the entry 08. Things like Bluetooth, sirius, bose, xenons, etc. The 09s also had the S-line exterior standard. Sorry I can't help you out on the hitch thing.

Yeah, the SE came with a lot of the things that I wouldn't ordinarily pay for but certainly nice to have. It was the last Quattro I could find in Socal, and was a ridiculous amount of $'s off sticker...I couldn't say no [:D]
