Hi everyone,
im thinking about rolling my fenders and putting 2001 s6 rims with 255/40ZR17 tires on them. I am sure they will fit, but what is the biggest set of brakes I can fit into them?
to start with (until I can afford more) would it be worth putting 2001 A8 disks and carriers on with the stock calipers all around? would they fit?
cheers

It's A8 rotors and tt carriers. And they should fit with no issues. As far as I know, you can stick the Porsche upgrade inside 16" sport wheels. I don't know the biggest you can go with 17" wheels, though. And I would be more worried about clearance issues with the rear control arm. The fenders rolled seems like it may be needed, but just be cautious of the offset with those tires.

There are several 4 and 6 piston options for a 17" wheel. You can even run the smaller diameter Treg 6 piston calipers with custom carriers.
