FCC ID for our key fobs

Does anyone know the correct FCC ID for our keyfobs? Fucking TSA lost my only key FOB so I can't check..I found a bunch of keys that looked like our B7 keys and all the sellers said they work for B7 Audis but they all have different FCC ID's.

I'm in Canada but I assume it's the same. Looking at my key for my 06 A4, which should be pretty close to yours, it's MYT4073A. Hope this helps.

My keys say MYT4073A, The FCC website also agrees that this ID was registered in germany as a keyfor for automobiles..


Hope that helped plus answering gave me an excuse to clean my desk at work to find my spare key [:D]

Well they didn't take it at the checkpoint i had it in my checked baggage and when I tried looking for my key it was gone..and there was one of those notes saying they checked my baggage..

No... if the key is not flipped out, under the xray they see that as a flipout something, so they think weapon. I read a post on audiworld years ago where a guy went through security and they took his flipout key as they didn't believe him that it was a key. yeah go figure.

so if you're going through airport security, have the key flipped out so it doesn't get any further attention.
