I can get hold of some OEM RS4 19" wheels and just wondering what you guys think of these wheels.
The dealer is saying that they will fit okay. But with all the other aftermarket wheels particularly the VMR ones, not sure if this will be a good deal.
They are $1500 for four and are painted black. I lifted them up and they seemed a lot lighter than the Sport. From what I can tell they are in excellent shape.
Oh and if I do pull the trigger what rubber do you recommend. I have short listed:
Goodyear F1 Asymmetric
Michelin Pilot Sport PS2
Yokohama ADVAN Sport
Continental ContiSport Contact
They all seem to be able to get the job done....

please search, this topic has been beaten to death. They will poke and that's too much for those wheels

Your dealer is an idiot. The rear wouldn't be too bad, but the front would look retarded. Remember, those wheels are designed to be used on cars with much wider fenders i.e RS4. [>_>]

Did you pick those wheels from someone here at AZ? I saw one guy selling them and they were black.

I will check and see what the offset and sizes are. I think it came off a B7 RS4. If the fronts will look goofy then I will pass. Funny I did a search and couldn't find a proper answer.
I noticed that most of the VMR are either et 35 or 45

OEM RS4's 19x9 ET 29 with 225/35 in the front and 235/35 in the rear. People here are just so stuck on the mindset that offset 35 on a 8.5 wide wheel is the maximum you can go. ALOT can still be played with beside your wheel and offsets. Your tires play a huge factor, your camber does as well. You just have to learn how to dial in the right settings. I'd say go for it. I regret selling my set, if i find another, I will certainly buy it again.

No fender rolling. Camber up front is about -2.5. Same with the rear. Tires were sessenta's i believe? or invos. Can't remember. That was a test fitting picture.

Thanks for all the replys everyone, I have decided to pass and get something like the VMR's that will be a better fit. Also I think that 18" will be a better option.

As someone who had 19's (when I bought the car)

Then put 18's on.
