does your intake look like this?

So im having a great day off taking pics for a DIY. Such a happy day, wash car, full tank of gas, top off fluids, changed cabin air filter to charcoal air filter, and got started on the engine air filter. Pre- filter was very dirty, so I start to take off the parts for the air intake box when all of a sudden I notice that its not even attached:bs:... YES the plastic/rubber hose that connects the airbox to the throttle body was not connected. GETS WORSE:angry:.... The hose has a horrible kink on it and thats why it wasnt connected.... but that dosnt explain the 4 metal chunks missing from the throttle body housing. So for the last 22 thousand miles I hope I pray that I havnt been driving just straight intake... I have no Idea what service has worked on in my car that needed them to get to that area but it does not explain the crappy job someone did trying to mash that hose back on.. which probably made the kink in it:rant:.. that causes it not to connect.....:confused: The 4 chunks of metal missing on the throttle body.. I have no clueee:confused:.... calling BW right NOW!

I would like to know who or what caused the chunks missing from the throttle body... its very sad if someone wasnt patient enough while working on my vehicle to not take the time to do it right.. its very simple.. how can anyone mess that up
