For some reson, they throw a lot of light to the rightside (passenger side). I have worked a lot in the headlight allignment and they are almost perefect when driving behind a car, but when I am driving in the left lane I can see the cars in the right lane receiving too much light.
I drove tonight in front of my car as a test and It really is throwing too much light to the right from both headlights.
I stold three pics from the forum (redlabel, coderedpl and Hockenheim) to explain what I am telling you, very uneven comparing driver vs passenger side:

For example you can see the truck, imagine it's driving on my same direction, sure it would receive some light in the mirror...

Anybody with dectanes experiencing the same issue?

Just guessing, maybe so as to not blind drivers on the other side of the road? Dunno, thats odd.

this^^ same reason why the cutoff on oem HIDs is higher on the right.

I thought all E-code lights (and other aftermarket ones) did this to resemble stock output in Germany. Maybe its just me but both me E-codes on my B6 and my B7 do this. Maybe i'm not just misunderstanding the question. Seems normal to me. [cool]

The right side IS supposed to be lower so you don't blind oncoming traffic. But, it looks like the right side is way too high?
When I drive with a car to the right of me, my lights don't pass their window. It looks in those pictures as if you would light up the whole car.
Is this what you are asking?

But they´re OEM. Produced by DEPO. Delivered by Dectane.
Depo is the OEM manufacturer from Audi.
It looks really a bit odd in my opinion. Do you have automatic headlight regulation?

They are made like that so they light up the street signs.
Wiki:
Most low-beam headlamps are specifically designed for use on only one side of the road. Headlamps for use in left-traffic countries have low-beam headlamps that "dip to the left"; the light is distributed with a downward/leftward bias to show the driver the road and signs ahead without blinding oncoming traffic. Headlamps for right-traffic countries have low beams that "dip to the right", with most of their light directed downward/rightward.
I think I posted a similar question a while ago, not sure but I remember thats what I was told. Seeing as my right headlight bulb is defective I dont have that issue for now lol. It does make sense though and having driven with these lights installed in the darkest areas, they do light up the signs pretty damn nicely.
I wouldn't worry unless you are blinding drivers with the drivers side. I adjusted mine to the point where my output is very close to the projector lights of other cars.

The cutoffs are correct. Not because of "E-code" design... probably need to understand what that means first. It is to prevent light into the window of the car in front of you so you don't blind the driver. It is particularly low due to bumps, hills that can still cause the light angle to reflect higher.

Now, if you are not happy with the cut off, I can change that for you and make it flat

The cutoff being raised to the right for a left side drive car is normal, some reasons could presumably be to better illuminate road signs, same with other reasons people gave another would be to give better visibility for things coming towards you from off road, like deer (these are imo). Having a flat cutoff might seem "cool" aesthetically but it's not legal or functional.

Exactly, I understand why the right side is higher, is just that seems to high for me.

I wish, but being so far away would take a lot of $$$$$ for sending headlights to you :(

your driver side headlight is aimed much higher.. in the first pic you can see that the driver side beam hits the ground further up and in the second pic you can clearly see the bright/horizontal part is much higher on the driver side... so lower it and see if that helps. you need to even them out anyway. drive up to those trucks in the alley again, get out and block your driver side headlight and see what happens ha
