Okay,

So I received this coupon a while back for a complimentary inspection for my car at an Audi Dealership, but I lost it and really need to have that complimentary inspection. Anybody out there have one they will not use that lives in the So Cal area or anybody relatively close by that can mail me one? I will pay something if you want me to to get it to me. My car's extended warranty expires in about 3,000 miles and wanted my service advisor to check the car to see what can be replaced under warranty before it goes out. Thanks for any help...

u should goto any bodyshop near u and get your car inspected probably for 70bux.....i honestly don't think your service adviser will do what you think they will do for you...they will probably tell you to fix something that will be repaired off the warranty...saving money for you means losing money for them....we just wish people are so honest and generous....

That's not necessarily true. Dealers perform warranty repairs and get paid from AoA. So saving you money by performing a warranty repair doesn't mean they won't get any money out of it. In fact, some shady dealers may even perform unnecessary warranty repairs just so they can get some more money out of AoA.

aren't inspections always complimentary? They WANT to find problems so they can get paid.. I don't think they really care whether it's by the warranty company or you.

^^Yeah im pretty sure your right. Usually when you go in for a oil change or something they will check all the little things as well. Usually a tech is thorough with this cause if he finds a problem then he can bring it up to the SA and they can let you know to fix it.

Thats how my buddy did it at the VW dealership he worked at. He was legit though. Other techs would like recommend something even though it wasn't quite ready to be replaced, like brakes or something.

Why do you need a coupon. Make an appointment and claim you feel a "loss in power" car feels slugish. They'll check out some stuff that way and if they run across anything they will replace it. Try to ask ur service rep (if ur cool with him) to upgrade ur diverted valve to the newest revision and check for any updates on the car.
