... spoke to the tech afterwards and he mentioned that my flywheel was nice and shiny. Guess heading to the dealer to drop off the car the day earlier, trying to merge onto the highway to get ahead a Canada Post truck, well that didn't happen, ended up polishing the flywheel with the clutch LOL. Fortunately, the flywheel is fine, otherwise that would have been an additional $1000CDN for that part. Slave cylinder was also repaired since the boot around it was torn

Damage before taxes, $1520. Did get a bit of a discount from the dealer. Looks like about 7.5 hours labour which is about right.

You replaced it with a stock clutch from the dealer? How many kms? Did you consider getting an aftermarket clutch?

I think I'm in the same boat. Clutch kept slipping on me but the odd thing is that, after I installed my HFC it doesn't seem to be slipping anymore?! Very confused.

97,000 km on the clutch. Cooked it good this past summer which was the nail in the coffin.

I thought about aftermarket, could have went that way and saved a few bucks but for other reasons I decided to go to Agincourt to get the work done.

What's your mileage? All I know is mine slips when the car's been sitting out in the freezing temperature and it'll slip in 4th gear and higher. If it's above freezing, everything seems to hold up right.
