What are some good piston type DVs out there for a K04? I have seen the forge 007 one on the for sell section. Are they good and what are some other option?

You should be fine with the Forge. Bailey and Stratmosphere are other good brands.

I heard there is a new version of it - Forge 004. Whats the difference?

i heard it's just got a lighter piston for better response. the hyperboost hx is nice too, that one for sure has a lighter piston. check it out at stratmosphere.com

no problem, i think my dv is going bad so i've been looking it up too, i'm leaning towards the hyperboost hx.

deosn't the piston type last for a long time? just have to regrease it once awhile. only the diaphram disign ones brake easily. I ahve the TT one just don't want till it brakes.

The billet valve from EVO works great and gives off a slight high pitch sound as it lets out the air. I can get this valve to hold 24-25psi on a dyno run with my GT35R turbo setup.

Response is great even with the huge custom fmic I have on my car.
