So I changed my water pump ver the last couple days an finally got everything back together an it started up fine but It runns sluggish.. I had to take the oil pulley/gear off to get to the 10mm bolts that hold the water pump in place.. So this means the timing belt came off too.. While the belt was off no gear moved.. I asked one of the local euro shops an the guy said that when I put it back together that I may have retarted the timing by a tooth/degree.. I don't think this is possible but tomaro I'm going to rip it all apart again an mark everything to see if the timing is off.. Any suggestions or advise would be appreciated..

there are timing marks on the cam gear, valve cover and crank pulley and think block, the two sets have to be in line for the timing to be correct
