Thinking about getting an 034 HFC for christmas and I want to make sure I won't have any problems with the fitment on my current set up. The 034 is a 3" but I have a 2.5" techtonics downpipe to 2.5" exhaust and stock ko3 turbo. Is the 3 bolt flange the same and it will just go from 3" to 2.5"? Will this change in pipe size cause any problems with exhaust flow? Would labree be a better choice?

I would have a talk with Issam about it, if you are intent on purchasing the 034 unit. They are built to order, so he can adjust anything that may need it. I myself run with the Labree unit and think it is one well constructed peice of metal.

I have the 034 HFC on mine and had to get the down pipe adjusted to fit with my AWE DTS. The angle off of the 034 HFC was slightly off and it hit on the passenger side of the notch in the DTS. I didn't have any trouble with the stock cat and I think this is just a manufacturing +/- tolerance thing with the first batch during the group buy. Fits now just was a pain to take it out again until I had time to get to an exhaust shop after messing with it for an afternoon. I am very happy with the performance of it for sure.

Are you running a stock turbo with that HFC and a 2.5" downpipe?

Ya, stock K03[down] and stock down pipe.

I really like the 034 HFC, just that first batch may have had a few slightly off with the HFC's exit angle.

Made a difference performance wise for sure and sounds good too.[drive]
