I would have liked an A8 with a darker color up on stage. I also wanted to see the back of the car. The new MMI with handwriting recognition/touchpad looked neat.

The interior looks amazing but did anyone else think BMW at the first sight of the interior? Plus the analog watch is [headbang]

mercedes and bmw are shitting their pants right now. the exterior is nothing insane except for the headlights. they really went all out on those LED's but the interior is beautiful. the interior is going to sell this car.

This is the first time LEDs don't necessarily make things better. Maybe I'll change my mind once I see it in person, but the Bi-Xenon lights are much sharper looking than the full LED ones.

It gave the characteristics of an eagle eye, whereas the full LED is just a cluster light.

That touchpad is brilliant. Much higher accuracy compared to voice commands, and not impeded by music or the sound system in general.

Yawn on the exterior styling of this car..and I think they're taking the LED light surrounds a few steps too far. The headlight design does no match the rest of the car.

I like the interior, but the exterior is horrible to be perfectly honest. It basically looks like a bigger A4. Nothing about the exterior says that this is the Audi flagship. The D3 A8/S8 is a much better looking car I think. Hopefully the S8 will fix the outer miscues.

If the A5/S5 and A4/S4 relationship is any indication, looks like the A series is not only the more affordable model, it's also the much weaker model. By putting 2.0T in the A4/A5 and V6T/V8 in the S4/S5 and nixing the 3.2, the gap is much wider now.

I'm expecting them to put something like a R8's V10 or FI V8 in the S8.
