Not offen that Seattle area folks get to really try out their Quattro (unless they head to the mountains). It snowed last night and my area got about 3 inches so I had to take the car out and see what it could do. Result = works great, even with summer tires! The ESP is nice too...lets you get the back end out a little then controls you to make sure you don't go further. I then had to disable it and do the trademark Quattro doughnuts once or twice [:D]

driving in snow with dedicated summer tires is just plain dumb.

Thanks for the comments guys. The car is stock ride height (sport package). Actually the car is completely stock, lol. Only had it a month though...so gimme some time.

As for driving on summer tires, while not the best thing, for the 2 days a year we may have snow here, it works. The snow is already melting and the roads are now just wet. Now gonna buy snow tires just for 2 days [:)]

There's an ESP button to the right of the rear fog button. Pressing it disables the ESP [:)]

For some reason that car looks so nice
I mistaken those wheels for the rs4 reps.

Nice car. Slap a Europlate on the front or something. that license plate bracket is bringing the value of your car down.

Probably photoshoped it out.
Nice ride...car looks very familar exvept for the colour.

Haha, nope, no photoshop. I stragegically avoided the angles that would show the prints [:)]

No shots of the doughnuts unfortunately. All of the snow is gone now [:(]

Yeah...unfortunaly Audi freaking rivets the damn plate holders to the bumper it looks like. I haven't gotten my plates yet...will soon. I wish I could remove the holder without having the holes in the bumper (or paying for them to be filled).

I think 2001 was the first year it was available. Basically it controls throttle and brakes to keep the car aimed where it thinks you're trying to go and to limit wheel spin. Seems to work quite well.
