So im at the point where my drivers side rear axle is huming, squeeking, and vibrating. During the summer there was an excessive amount of grease on my suspension parts so im going to have to rule out wheel bearing.

what i need to know is how big of a hassle is it to do my self, is there a DIY?

where should i buy from?

also will i need an alignment after this??

thanks guys

Its fairly easy to remove. Just remember to have a second hand at the e-brake so they can release and hold it so you can turn the axle. I don't believe you need an alignment

Remove the wheel. Pull the ebrake all the way up and loosed the axle bolt. Remove the 6 inner cv bolts. Remove the axle. You may also have to remove the upper spindle bolt and pull the spindle down to get more clearance.

There's grease all over your suspension? That sounds more like a torn boot than wheel bearing, or maybe I'm not understanding your assessment?

*edit* nevermind. I thought you were saying you would be doing the wheel bearing. Sry!
