1. You need face lift headlights for HID's.

2. They have H7 bulbs in the projectors on face lift headlights.

3. If you don't do it that way you will need to get yourself a flame suit cuz people on here will rip you apart for blinding other drivers.

these are the facelift headlight housing right?

so if i already have them installed, installing HIDs wouldn't be a problem for me, correct?

Correct as long as you get an H7 HID kit.

I'd recommend right underneath attached to the headlight, there should be a good spot for it there. [up]

So I may seem fairly ignorant here, but am I to understand that you need to have a one piece headlight to put HIDs in there?? Maybe I'm just reading the post wrong.

Not one peice, just projector headlights. The OEM 1 peice are projector and the 2 peice OEM is not. The aftermarket 2 peice ecode is projector, and you can have an HID in there witout blinding other motorists.

Oh ok. I get what you're saying now. I want to do the one piece transition very badly, but the concept of trimming my fender leaves me timid. I really just need the money to afford one piece ecodes. Plus the cost of the HIDs means I have to do a lot of work to afford it.
