So it looks like the shops near me are not willing to do a audi install.

1. its good they know there limitations ..I guess

2. So should I be able to do the install with out fudging up he ECU

Mechanical I have .... electronics not so much. I have installed at least a dozen clean installs with dash and harness kits....

So looking at the Pioneer AVH-P6000DVD

One really nice option is the Vehicle Dynamics Processor

Ok, I am done with the so called pro audi shops in my area. What a bunch of hack tweekers and wanna be bad ass's.

I stopped by a local shop and the douche bag was to busy finger fudging his keyboard to listen to what I was ..... yes was going to spend 2k in his shop.

Phuk them. I am going to try the self install next.

They had issues Friday I think it was and they lost a lot of data from the day. Looks like in most cases you will need to repost.

Installing yourself is not too difficult... I installed a double din AVIC earlier this year in my B7 and very happy with the result.

I believe the reason some installers shy away from Audi is the CAN-BUS on our cars requires some special handling...

Im lucky i have a 2000 s4 mt6.

I have picked the head unit ! CLARION NX409 DOUBLE DIN IN-DASH NAVIGATION/DVD/USB

So now the speakers ... help

and dont forget the amp ...help

how about 300 worth of speakers and 150 for a amp ?
