I can't get over how bad the brakes feel on the B5. The brakes in my A4 don't seem to have an excessive wear, or corrosion on the rotors, and the fluid has been recently replaced when I replaced the front flex lines with Stoptech SS lines. The rear lines don't appear to have cracks or wear that could be attributed to a spongy pedal. Phrased another way, if I wanted to fix the brakes, I couldn't find anything to replace.

So what's the fix for this? Larger bore master cylinder? A more aggressive pad compound? What are your experiences?

The brakes are so bad that I wouldn't take the car lapping with them like this!
