Anyone mount all seasons on there stockers? Either 18 or 19'. I hate that you can't order the wheels with all seasons, only high performance tires. I know they have the 5 spoke all season 18's for the sline package a4 but you can not get them on the S4. Kinda dumb if you ask me.

Yes I replaced my 18 inch stock Summer Performance tires with Michelin Pilot Sport AS Plus. I never track the car and driving on the street I would say the AS Plus are almost as good as the stockers. I have been very pleased with them so far, looking forward to seeing how they do through the winter, which here in South Jersey are not usually to severe.

I run all seasons 19in year round in Ohio and have no real problems. I run Goodyear GT ultra high performance tires currently and like them. I do have a AWD and my car is NOT lowered any more then stock sport setting

Translation:

Greetings fellow Audi Drivers,

I live in close proximity to mountains, and the climate here during the winter months can be quite harsh. I need an all season tire that I can use year round on 19 or 18 inch rims. It would be swell if they aren't very noisy and if they performed exceptionally on ice and snow. I am on a modest budget for this purchase.

As I did with my B6 S4, I will wear out the stock UHP summer tires and then replace them with all season tires. First, I don't track the car. Secondly, I lease. A/S tires are less expensive and have longer treadlife than UHP summer tires. It does get cold in the winter in my area. But I don't need to drive the car in significant accumulations of snow since I have a Mountaineeer to use for those conditions.

That no all season tires from Audi hacked me off. I ordered new wheels with AS tires (BBS CH 18x8.5 ET35, 255/40/18 Bridgestone RE960AS tires) before my car even showed up. I sold my OEM B8 S4 tires/wheels locally to somebody from local Audi forum. I have been running UHPAS tires now on 2 S4's for ~ 10 years. I am an avid skier and spend much time in the mountains in the winter. I have now run the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S, the Pirelli Pzero Nero M+S, the Yokohama ADVAN S.4. and the Bridgestone RE96oAS Pole Position UHPAS tires on S4s.

Check out the Continental Extreme Contact DWS UHPAS tires. Does very well in the snow, cheap, quiet and wears well.
