I am amazed every time I search for something so basic and simple, yet can find NOTHING.

page after page of mindless babbling, and like the trash mags in the grocery store checkout line, you just can't help but read some of it!

OK, Audi Transmission Oil, for manual transmissions... 01A 5speeds...

Who uses what, and what's your take on it?

I DEFINITELY need to change my lube. -tranny AND the rear end.
I'd love to hear what others are using and their results from such.

thanks

Redline MT90 is common, as well as Motul fluid, or BG Synchromesh

i used redline mt90 for the tranny and redline 75w90 for the rear. shifting is a little smoother than before. hope that helps.

I had my 04 S/4 tip's oil changed last month.. and I purchase 2 gallon of Swepco ATf for it.
My local Audi outfit changed it out for me along with a filter. The car only had 42k on it. so far all is well as I've used Swepco in my Porsche's.
