View Full Version : Reverse Light wire colors?? (Driver Side)

Does anyone know the color for the pos/neg wires going to the reverse light on the drivers side inside the truck compartment?? I took the light apart to find a white and yellow wire going into the truck lid from the bulb socket but does not seem to continue out of the wire stack into the truck?? I am trying to install an aftermarket reverse sensor which requires tapping into the reverse light...It's a 2004 A8L.
BTW: You know you have a high tech car when there are circuit boards inside the lights!! WOW!!

The best person would be 4ringking, hes in my Friends list. Hes a Audi Tech, and deals alot of our audis. I ask him for everything.

Thanks for the info...I'll pm him and note your referred him. I asked the dealer about installing the factory system and obviously they said can't be done...

Suggest you also look into Kufatec retrofit kits for the full OEM solution... Search the boards as many have done this retrofit.

I already looked into them...the products they sell are upgrades for the factory installed system (plug & play)...they do not offer a product for non-equipped cars like mine...
