Honestly, how much weight could you be saving by installing carbon fiber fenders, really? if anyone installs these, the obviously have too much money

I have a pair of RS4's and they weigh next to nothing, so no big gain that’s for sure.

Bling factor alone is worth it.

carbon fiber fenders are hot but only on a car with a cf hood and mabye a cf trunk. imo

I think it would only look good on a black car or maybe even santorin. All other colors dont think could pull it off w/o more CF on the car.
N Id rock the fenders in a second if I could afford it.

Exactly^^. If I had a black car I'd be all over it.

what do you guys think about it on a white car with c/f hood and trunk, and side mirrors? too much c/f and it woudl be an over kill or woudl it look pretty bad ass?

I would paint them to match the rest of the car personally.

if u paint them, then whats the point of having them if u just weight them down again with paint... I guess i just dont get the whole CF fetish. i like the hoods, but only when the sides are painted to match the car. just me though

CF with paint has to weigh less than steel with paint

Quattrocket

true but overall how much weight do you really save with a carbon fibre hood??? i mean over all, it wouldnt make a noticeable difference would it? other than the bling bling factor that is

Ya good point. Any one who puts these on their car wants to be noticed. Your right.

you're better off telling your gf to lay off the krispy kreme pal, you're talking a difference of about 20 lbs.

If it's a show car sure, but how practical are these on a daily driver?

^^ Who cares? How practical are any big mods done to these cars if they are daily drivers? If that really mattered I wouldn't have done have the things I have to my car.

True, I guess nothing we realy do is "practical". As for the CF fenders, I would rather spend the money on something else. Now, If I was rich or someone gave them to me, I would put them on.

As you can see, I don't have them on my car, so I obviosuly don't find them that needed. Even the C/F hood I have is painted to match. If I did own a black car I'd throw them on, but man are they $$$$$
