This topic is discussed now and again but I thought I would start a new thread to get recent input.
Just wondering if people could chime in about how much life they get out of a set of tires. I know, I know -- it will greatly depend on the quality of tire, driving style, suspension, etc. That's why I want to ask this question again and get new input.
Let's assume for the sake of argument that you rotate at least every 5K - 10K miles (or twice per year if you're running winter tires?). With that, I open it up to the floor...

on average about 12-15k miles for my summer tires. I usually buy a new set every year. A couple track days, a auto-x or two + driving to work during the summer will usually toast them. I stocked up on the B-Stone RE-01R's when they were onsale this year so i have another set for next year.

I think im going to get about 15-20k on my Bridgestone RE01R's. They are about 1/2-2/3 left and im at about 7k or more miles on them with 4 autox's, 1 track day and 1 autox school.
They are wearing remarkably well for a tire that grips so well.

It depends on the tire itself. Different tires with different UTOG ratings results in different life.
Maybe you should ask to clarify:
a. Tire used with UTOG rating
b. Life out of them.
