I'm looking to buy a control arm kit to replace my worn out ones. Can anyone tell me a good place to buy a set? Is there a company that makes them to where the bushings wont wear out so fast. I was looking at the febi-bilstein kit from purems but want to see if I can find a good set somewhere else that is cheaper. I dont want a shitty brand that will just wear out quickly. I was looking at this kit on ebay from deutshe parts and they claim to be oem. Is this a good kit to purchase? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Audi-A4-A6-VW-Passat-Control-Arms-Kit-98-99-01-02-03-97_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp3286Q2ec0Q2em14QQhas hZitem1c0762a0f4QQitemZ120382988532QQptZMotorsQ5fC arQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories Thanks for any info.

$233 is way too cheap for a complete set of control arms & tie rod ends.

We have several control arm kits available from a few different manufactures that include free shipping to the lower 48 in the US:

if you SEARCH!!! you will find many people are running the ebay whole control arm kit and have been happy with it for over 15K miles, i installed a whole front end kit on my buddies a4 and it was well worth the money for the pretty much same exact quality parts

can anyone tell me which control arm set would be better. A meyle or febi-bilstein?

Just FYI for warranty purposes... the Meyle arms offer a 4 year warranty and the Febi arms offer a 1 year warranty.

The quality of the Febi is supposed to be the better of the others. My mechanic had issues with the Meyles and he advised me against them. He is an enthusiest with a B5 Passat converted to Quattro and VR6 BAT.
