Staggered wheels is definitely not a problem for us to produce. I'm already familiar with the specs required, and we can pull the trigger at any time. However... production minimums... we might end up sitting on inventory because the demand isn't too high. Anyone interested in a GB? Right now I'm doing forecasts for December arrival.

Man! This thread changes alot! It got shorter, then the name changed! We should get a list together. Colors, Diameter, fitment. I would just produce the most popular color (HS) but given enough interest and at least a partial fitment, I can make the other fitments happen!

realtor needs to stop expecting GB prices on a staggered setup. You won't get enough of a demand here to justify Peter's effort and investment, ESPECIALLY in 18's. If you want a staggered set of 18's, send him your individual order..

I'd say let the rep handle it and you deal with him via PM. Sounds like your attitude is just going to push people away and end up ruining the deal for you.

Did my post get deleted?
Oh well.... here we go again.
Staggered fitment is pretty pointless on quattro vehicles because there can't be too much difference between front and back wheel sizes or it damages the awd system. So because of the little difference you almost can't tell that it's a staggered fitment.

Why are my posts getting deleted?
Yeah what eskimo said, staggered on Quattro cars is a dumb ass idea. Has nothing do with "being haters", people are trying to tell you that your idea is retarded and is going to F up your car.

Actually it is not pointless and you have not even taken the time to read what the OP was asking VMR for.
He wants 18 x 8.5 all the way around with staggered offsets so the rear wheels will have more dish to them and also fill the wheel gaps in the rear better, similar to running spacers in the rear.
By having the same rim width on all four corners, the tire sizes can remain the same.
Now that that is clear, let's get back to your orginal argument. It really does not make any difference on the torsen whether you run staggered or not, as long as the rim diameter is the same front and rear.
The Quattro will accept up to 5% difference in tire size before it is affected. All you really need to do is make sure your tire circumfrences are within 5% of each other, whch they will.
VMR already has castings to make this happen, 5 x 114.3 wheels can be drilled, or if there is enough interest they could easily do a production run of 5 x 112.
Deep concave mesh wheels are very popular right now.
Here is an example of the wheel and concavity

You're right, but to be fair, the Op never specify anything about a staggered offset, all he said was staggered setup. Based on just about every one of his posts, other members (including myself) automatically assumed he meant staggered width.
Now that that is cleared up, we can get back to letting the Op make an ass out of himself.
Btw, I had no idea VMR was working on staggered offsets, thanks for the info.

I know what the OP asked for.
The 'equal tire fitment with stretched tires in the rear', suggests well enough what he wants to do.. safely.. with quattro.
I think it's a good idea and would look great.. but a "hey VMR" thread is pointless if you're is trying to buy these wheels now -- you seem to be ready to pull the trigger, and "don't need GB prices", so I'm just saying you're better off paying a little more to have one set made, dealing with VMR privately, getting you your wheels sooner.
Some of us have seen (in this forum) how long it takes GB threads to get up in numbers when dealing with a standard set of 19's, and considering that what you're looking for is pretty specific... I just think you're delaying yourself by trying to stir interest here.. especially in 18".
Some people are actually trying to help/give advice, don't take e-tone so seriously

I agree with greg, although the OP didnt make it specifically clear all that matters is what VMR thought he meant or believes what he meant. It seems that VMR is willing to make this, if enough people are desiring these wheels they will make them. Let's keep this civilized and gauge an interest for these wheels.
If I might be so bold, maybe VMR should start a new thread in the GB/New product or in this section so people "might" take this more seriously. Not many people like OP, which as one has mentioned might deter others from taking this serious.
I wouldn't mind a staggered set in 18's, I need a nice set of tracking wheels...not sure if running this setup would be ideal for tracking though :)

I know the Audi market pretty well and I am pretty confident there are more than 10 people who would be willing to place an order either 18 x 8.5 or 19 x 8.5 with staggered offsets and a deep rear concave for December's shipment.
Deep dish concave wheels are all the rage right now and the 709 and 710s are pretty hot.
Couple this with some incredible finishes like graphite powder coat and you have yourself a winner!
You guys need to remember that the market always follows the consumers and is reactionary. If you want something, ask for it, the worst thing that can happen is you will be told "no".
Based upon Peter's response though, this is definitely doable.

Actually it is not pointless and you have not even taken the time to read what the OP was asking VMR for.
If by "taken the time to read", you mean "taken the time to decipher", then no, I have not. He didn't ask for staggered offsets, he asked for a staggered setup. Because he chooses to type like a 5th grader, I did not take the time to decode what he was saying.
That is shoddy information, and I really wouldn't be giving it to people without words of caution. There are people who have trashed their diff with less than 5% variations in circumference, more like 2% or 3% actually. There is no magic number to that formula, and it is pretty damn risky with no perceived benefit aside from possibly looking somewhat cool.
Deep concave mesh wheels are very popular right now.
Here is an example of the wheel and concavity

They're definitely great wheels, you're just too abrasive and retarded to have any company or individual deal with you. If I was VMR, I would tell you to F' off simply based on principle.
If I wanted to buy them, I would call VMR and place an order, not start a worthless 'want-to-buy' GB thread and piss everyone else off in the process. If you're trying to save a couple bucks, then haggle with them or save for a little longer. That $8,000 you made in an hour or whatever should cover about 3 sets.

My car is a 6 speed. I've been driving a manual before you even had your drivers license. I would absolutely destroy you on a road course. Bring it.

Nope. You can bring whatever you want, you just have to be an Audi club member ($30-40 a year). I went to one Audi club sponsored event last year and I would say the majority of cars weren't Audis. A lot of the people either join the club just to have access to more track days or they have DD Audis and dedicated track cars. It's a pretty good deal since you get 4-5 20 minute sessions each day, quality classroom time, and Saturday afternoon they have a banquet.

Hmm, well as true as it may be.. VMR guys are always here which means unlike most other wheel companies they actually (hear) what we say both good and bad. From my experience, they're enthusiasts, focused on giving a good product at a pretty damn good price - and I can relate to them more then lets say HRE and OZ, you don't see them here, you can't even reach them half the time. Just diff vibe.. everyone else is sooo CORP material and all about making the most $$$$$$ with the least help - forgetting what got them there to begin with. IMO of course. OP you have crossed the line. disrespecting people for of all things, trying to help you??!! i hope one day your spoiled doushy self makes it to Brooklyn or NYC i will gladly give you a beating because apparently your parents didnt love you enough to teach you manners and respect for one another. I pray you leave this forum with your head up high, and continue on your hell path that your on and crash and burn in the future only to realise how big of an asshole you really are.
