Good evening all,
Recently came across this site, so thought I'd sign up and say hi.
Owner of a D2 A8 4.2 Quattro Sport for nearly 6 years (I've put 92k miles on her!!) I can honestly say I'm smitten.
Still drive with a HUGE grin on my face every time I start her up and press the loud pedal :)
I'll be around regularly, so please say hi :)

Thanks for the welcome.
She's done 170k miles now, modifications include:
Custom Stainless Quad Exhaust system
RS4/6 8-pot calipers with 365mm drilled RS6 disks
K&N Panel filter
20" Lorinser rims
RNS-E
I think this is the best car I've ever driven, and I plan on keeping her for the foreseeable future [:D]

Very nice...
Your headlights look a bit different, is it a "Euro" difference ?

I'd like more details and up close pictures on your headlights. I've been looking for a pair of those style headlights and are hard to find. Did those headlights come on the 03 D2 only? Also, what exhaust system are you running?

The one-piece projectors are definitely nice. So is the rear valence with quad pipes. Is it custom?

the headlights on OP's car don't seem like projectors.

The valance is a standard valance with a custom cut out for the right-side exhaust tips. The company that put it together for me have unfortunately gone out of business, but I can honestly say that it is quite simply superb. Made using Cobra boxes and resonators it sounds simply awesome, and gives me great joy.

The lights are standard Audi bi-xenon units for the A8/S8, and were available for the facelift D2's only. Mine came as standard with the car, and it's a 2000 model. There'll be some around, but they'll not be cheap

Ah bi-xenon units, do you have any closer pics of the unit.
We have the standard lowbeam projector xenon on our facelift models.

Try this one

The low beam xenon was an option over here too, in fact many S8's have them, not the Bi's

Those headlights are sick, better than our standard headlights. You know anywhere I can pick those up from?

a8parts.co.uk would normally be your best bet. Members of the A8 Owners Club (http://a8oc.net) also get a discount.
I'm trying to source new parts suppliers too, who may be able to offer discounted parts :)
