View Full Version : Noob alert: Sunroof Knob Question

Here's a stupid question but maybe you guys can help me out. I could swear the directional arrow and circle on my sunroof knob used to light up (I've only had the car like 3 weeks). Tonight I noticed it wasn't lit up when the lights were on...is this thing supposed to light up or am I just nuts?

I have an 07 B7 and mine lights up, well glows. I can take a pic if you want.

they only light up if the the button foward it is placed in the middle. that shows its setting. all the way to the left is not on, middle is on when u open the door like when dark and all the way right is allways light constantly. hope it helps or is wut u need

it blocks out the sun similar to the visor in front of the passenger/driver.

yeah but in the front of it the is like some sort of sensor on it. it is small, but it has to have some sort of feature?

Probably for the rain sensing wipers. Or it could be for the ambient light sensor for automatic headlights. I never figured out where those sensors were (I never bothered to look actually)

hmm...wondering about this becuase i feel like ive seen mine light up...but then again i feel like it doesnt light up

me too...i do have the xenon package though, so maybe thats it.
